Conference Venue - Hyderabad International Convention Centre
 
Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) is India’s first purpose built convention facility located in the emerging business hub of India - Hyderabad. Developed by the Cyberabad Convention Centre Private Limited a joint venture between Emaar Properties (PJSC) of Dubai and Andhra Pradesh Investment Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), this convention facility is managed by Accor, one of the world’s leading hospitality and tourism management companies.
 
HICC Physical Infrastructure:
Built across a 15-acre landscaped environment, HICC is a pillar-free internal hall of net 6,480 sq. meters which can be partitioned into six halls in an open capacity, which can hold up to 400 tables in Banquet setting and 6000 in cocktail. The pre function foyer area also exceeds 6500 sq meters in addition to this internal space. The Centre has mobile operable walls, which when expanded accommodates up to 5000 people. The mobile operable walls are soundproof, built in the US and have been covered with teak and silk.
 
HICC Meeting Rooms:
Located on the ground level is a 500-person reception area with 16 terminals for registration. Another additional reception area at the entry of the convention centre has an additional 8 terminals has been
provided to allow foreign exchange, travel, PCO, Concierge facility or any special front desk operational requirement. There is a Cloakroom facility with phone and Internet for delegates on Ground Level. HICC has six more boardrooms and meeting rooms with four separate speaker preparation rooms as well as breakout rooms on level 2.
 
Location and Connectivity
The new airport in Shamsabad is about 40 minutes’ drive from HICC. In line with the location of the new international airport most of the hotel chains are putting up properties in this district. The Government is also increasing the infrastructure in this district by way of flyovers & new roads. Connectivity both in between the Hotels and the new airport is very fast. More and more people are eating out regularly resulting in world class fine dining restaurants offering various cuisines to suit the palate of visitors from different parts of the world. Such facilities will help give more opportunities for networking between the visiting delegates and the local Industry.
